Colonial Capital Kiwanis learns about First Tee Program

The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital recently heard a program about the First Tee of the Virginia Peninsula presented by Tom Carnavale who is the Branch Director of the program. The mission of the program is "to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf." There are over 1,000 children now involved in the local program and over 100 volunteers who are helping. Pictured above are Club President Pete Webster, Carnavale, and club member Jim Simpson.
