The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital recently heard a presentation about the local Hospice House which provides end of life care for many people suffering from terminal illness and also provides comfort and assistance for their families while the patient is in residence there. The presentation was made by Debra Podish, who is the Director of Patient Volunteer Services and Janet Reid, who is the Deputy Director of the House.
