Russell Seymour, Director of Economic Development for James City County, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital about his work in attracting businesses to the County. Seymour said that one of the most important issues to business organizations in considering relocation is the quality of life in the community and infrastructure. James City County has much to offer so the County has been successful in attracting them. A limitation here is the availability of space since there is not much acreage currently available and buildings are already highly occupied, but businesses continue to show interest. Pictured above are Club President Pete Webster, Seymour, and club member Maloy Jones.
