Colonial Capital Kiwanis learns about Tidewater Virginia Historical Society

Joe Burkart, President of the Tidewater Virginia Historical Society recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital, about the activities of the Society. Their mission is to preserve and promote the heritage of Tidewater Virginia by serving as an advocate for historic knowledge, archaeology preservation, and geographic and cultural heritage. In doing so, they offer lectures and excursions to the various sites in the area for anyone who is interested. Pictured above are Club President Larry Shoberg, Burkart, and Club member Chuck Lyon.
