Colonial Dames donate to Virginia Veterans

The Reverend James Blair Chapter of the National Society Colonial Dames Seventeenth Century met at Ford's Colony Country Club to help Veterans and support one of the Society's most important objects: "to zealously maintain the patriotism which led to the foundation of our great country". The Dames donated clothes for homeless and hospital bound veterans, collected cancelled postage stamps for therapy sessions, and signed and mailed Veteran/Military appreciation cards. In addition, the chapter collected over $200 which will be sent to the Veterans Hospitals in Virginia.
