Community Business Leaders UNITE!

By now, its a well know fact, and Williamsburg business leaders would agree that it feels like a privilege to be an active member of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance. In this space of leadership, businesses come together to serve our community and one another. Teresa Evans director of community relations at Edgeworth Park in NewTown, Melanie Wynkoop Vice President Private Banking at Old Point National Bank in NewTown, Geoffrey Reid director of marketing with The WISC and Victoria Schumacher with GWCTA are all smiles when they are together in the community. Anyone who knows them can see how much they love what they do for a living, and they with other businesses meet often in various formats to discuss how to best serve our local business community, neighbors and our local Williamsburg families. Teresa, Melanie, Geoffrey and Victoria also selflessly serve on the Chamber's committees and often work beyond the normal 9-5 work week and truly enjoy bringing business and tourism awareness to our local community. They find that there is something powerful when they all work together for the good of our city. When asked, how do you quantify success? Melanie and Geoffrey both noted; "It's all about building healthy business relationships and helping others." These folks and many others are our critical component in creating community and business success in Williamsburg, we thank them so much for their dedication, compassion and loyalty to our community!
