Comte de Grasse Chapter, NSDAR Honors DAR Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest Winners

The Comte de Grasse Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored its DAR Good Citizens at a recent meeting at the Custom House in Historic Yorktown. Recognized were Elizabeth Sholtis, Grafton High School, Brennan Rausch, Tabb High School; Kyle Mastracci, York High School; and Elizabeth de Jager, Bruton High School. Each recipient was awarded a certificate, recognition pin, and check from the chapter. Kyle Mastracci's entry was forwarded by the chapter to the DAR district level contest.

The DAR Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The program is open to high school seniors. The student selected as the school's DARGood Citizen must have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
