Comte de Grasse Chapter NSDAR Honors DAR Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest Winners

The Comte de Grasse Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution honored its
2017-2018 DAR Good Citizens during a chapter meeting at the Custom House in Historic Yorktown. Recognized were Rachel Olsen, Grafton High School; Margaret Dillman, Tabb High School; Alyssa Arbelli-Smith, Bruton High School; and Helen Fisher, York High School. Each recipient was awarded a certificate, recognition pin, and check from the chapter. Helen Fisher's entry was forwarded by the chapter to the DAR district level contest.

The DAR Good Citizens Program and Scholarship Contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. The program is open to high school seniors. The student selected as the school's DAR Good Citizen must have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
