CURATOR EXPLORES THE ARE OF QUILTING IN VIRGINIA

The Williamsburg Daughters NSDAR welcomed Kimberly Ivey, Curator of Textiles and Historic Interiors, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, to their May meeting at the Colonial Heritage Country Club. Ms. Ivey's lecture topic was "Records of Purpose and Pleasure: Quilts and Needlework from the Early South". Ms. Ivey is the co-author with Linda Baumgarten of "Four Centuries of Quilts: The Colonial Williamsburg Collection" published in 2014.
