The Williamsburg Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution welcomed speaker and Historian Nancy Egloff from the Jamestown Yorktown Foundation to the April chapter meeting at Colonial Heritage Country Club. Ms. Egloff's lecture topic was "Cockacoeske: Faithful friend to the English". The Jamestown Yorktown Foundation and Nancy Egloff were nominated by Indian Committee Chairman Henrietta Maus. They were awarded the DAR Women in American History award medal for their research and historic education efforts to highlight the achievements by women in American Colonial and Revolutionary history.
