As You Wish, a program of the Advance Care Planning Coalition of Eastern Virginia, will present "Do the Right Thing, Do the Write Thing," a thoughtful discussion on the importance of advance care planning and guidance available in creating one's advance directive for health care (AD) on April 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Point Library, 721 Main St., West Point, 23181.
The presentation and provided materials are free and reservations are not required.
Although April 16 is National Health Care Decisions Day, the As You Wish program is focusing attention all month on the importance of advance care planning. As You Wish is offering a drawing for a Samsung Galaxy Tablet to area residents who complete or update their advance directive during the month of April, as part of its "Do the Right Thing, Do the Write Thing" campaign.
