Edgeworth Park becomes a sponsor of OSLC's Oktoberfest 2017

Teresa Evans, director of community relations for Edgeworth Park at New Town, a senior living community, presents Our Saviour's Lutheran Church's pastor, James P. Nickols, a check for $500 in support of the church's major fundraiser for its adult day care program. The adult care program, or the Senior Champion Program, is operated under the auspices of Colonial Heritage Community Foundation. Each year, the church holds an Oktoberfest to raise funds to provide free adult care for as many as 14 seniors. Oktoberfest 2017, to be held on Saturday, October 14, will feature a silent and live auction, wine tasting, and a Biergarten under a tent offering a German buffet prepared by Custom Culinary Connections with an assortment of German beers, the German Band "The Happy Dutchmen," and the Hirschjaeger Bavarian Dancers, and Picasso Face-painting. Reservations may be made through the church's website (www.oslcnorge.org) or by calling the church office (757.564.3745).
