The Ewell Concert Series presents German pianist Andreas Klein on Friday, February 12, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in Ewell Recital Hall, College of William & Mary. The New York Times heralded Mr. Klein as "a fascinating artist with all the indispensable qualities: temperament, taste, touch, tone…he makes silences sound like music." Andreas Klein is both orchestra soloist and recitalist, performing internationally at such venues as London's Wigmore Hall, Berlin's Philharmonic Hall, New York's Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center. He will play music of Beethoven, Schumann, Ginastera, and Prokofiev. Tickets at the door: $10/general public, $5/students. Reception following the concert in the Recital Hall lobby.
Mr. Klein will also present a Piano Master Class on Thursday, February 11, 2016, 7:00-9:00 p.m. in Ewell Recital Hall. The public is invited and admission is free.
