WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Tracy L. Shackelford is celebrating her fifth anniversary as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual. Schackelford joined Northwestern Mutual in February, 2011, as a financial representative and has since become a financial advisor. She is part of a network of specialists offering a wide array of products, expert guidance and innovative solutions for her clients' needs and goals. Schackelford earned Northwestern Mutual's Virginia Group Representative of the year for 2015.
A native of Gloucester, Shackelford earned a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia in 1989. Shackelford is an active member of Impact 100 Greater Peninsula, the local University of Virginia Club, Williamsburg Garden Club and Child Development Resources. She resides in Williamsburg with her husband and business partner, Harold Philipsen, and their two sons.
