FISH speaks to Colonial Capital Kiwanis

Gene Bruss, President of the Board of Directors of FISH spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital recently about the mission of FISH, which is a charitable organization providing assistance to the needy of local community in the form of food, clothing and household items. Mr. Bruss emphasized that FISH has no paid employees and has about 400 volunteers who collect the donated items, sort, clean and distribute donated clothing and maintain a food pantry of essentially all non perishable items. Clients are referred to them by United Way, Salvation Army, Social Services agencies and various churches in the area.
