Ford's Colony Garden Club Holds Summer Luncheon

The Garden Pavilion at Ford's Colony Country Club was the site of the Ford's Colony Garden Club Summer Luncheon held on June 8, 2016. New Officers and Committee Chairs for the 2016-2017 year were introduced, and special recognition was given to member Pat Giles for her outstanding effort spearheading the Garden Club Annual Fundraiser.

Every year the Garden Club strives to send four children to Nature Camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Rockbridge County, and this year that goal was once again achieved. Nature Camp is a private, non-profit, residential summer camp for youths in grades 5-12. The camp specializes in natural history and environmental science and is one of the oldest in the country.
