Williamsburg, Va. (September 9, 2015) - The Friends of the Muscarelle Museum of Art, a service organization dedicated to supporting the mission-related activities of the Museum, seeks new members for the coming year. Numerous opportunities are available throughout the year and vary so there is the right project for any volunteer. This year during Historic Garden Week in Williamsburg, FMMA will act as hostesses and hosts for "Art in Bloom" which is an exhibition of paintings and interpretive flower arrangements. During the three meetings of FMMA, one of which is Holiday Luncheon at Le Yaca on December 3, 2015, members will learn about the art on exhibit at the Museum. Members of the FMMA receive exclusive access to Museum events such as tours from the Director and exhibition Curators. For information about joining FMMA, please visit Muscarelle.org.volunteer/support.
