From Student to Warrior: A Military History of the College of William & Mary

Join William & Mary Libraries to hear local author and historian Wilford Kale talk about his latest book, From Student to Warrior: A Military History of the College of William & Mary, which looks at the role the university and its faculty, students and alumni have played in the military from the French & Indian War to the present day.

An alumnus of William & Mary, class of 1966, Kale is also the author of the popular books Hark Upon the Gale: An Illustrated History of The College of William & Mary and A Very Virginia Christmas.

The event will be held on Monday, November 13 at 5:30 p.m. at Swem Library, William & Mary, Ford Classroom, ground floor, 400 Landrum Drive, Williamsburg.

Light refreshments will be provided. Free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in the lots behind Swem Library. The W&M Bookstore will have books for sale at the event.
