Garden Clubs and the City of Williamsburg Celebrate Arbor Day

To celebrate Arbor Day, on March 10 the Williamsburg Area Council of Garden Clubs and their host, the City of Williamsburg, dedicated a White Pine tree planted in Bicentennial Park under the supervision of Will Fidler, Landscape Superintendent for the City, and Ruth Maruca, Arbor Day Planning Coordinator for the Council.
Attending the dedication ceremony are: Bev Baker-Berkeley Garden Club; Ruth Maruca-Berkeley Garden Club; Judy Casone-Berkeley Garden Club; Loy Holt-Berkeley Garden Club; Jane Filz-Green Spring Garden Club; Glenda Knowles-Berkeley and Colonial Heritage Garden Clubs; Geneva Hunt-Dogwood Garden Club of Queens Lake; Ellen Schiavone-Brandon Woods Garden Club; Betsy Edwards-Colonial Heritage Garden Club; Karen Jamison-Williamsburg Garden Club;Yuko Molinuex-Kingspoint Garden Club; From the City of Williamsburg-Will Fidler; Bob Iversen; and Lucas Jenne.
