Gerrymandering

The practice of "Gerrymandering" is the greatest threat to American Democracy. This practice allows politicians to select their constituents rather than the voters choosing who represents them. Today constituent selection can be accomplished with computerized pin point accuracy. A number of progressive organizations are trying to convince our Virginia government to institute a fair, nonpartisan system of establishing voting districts.
