Children's Ministry Training

You are invited to join a team focused on teaching children in public elementary schools about God and his love for them, while teaching good character, too. As Good News Clubs start in several public elementary schools during the beginning months of the new year, you are invited to attend free training for the Good News Club Team positions. Instruction includes how to present God's good news through Bible lessons, memory verses, songs, prayer, mission stories and fun review games. This training is for new team members starting a club and for existing team members wanting to refresh or cross train for another position on the team. Church children's ministry workers are welcome, too. It is like taking Sunday school to the public school. The training will be conducted on January 14, Saturday, 9 AM to 4 PM; the location is the Williamsburg Community Chapel, Room 120 entering on the East side. Bring your own lunch or eat out. Please register your attendance with Tom Boor, 757-871-6382, to reserve your copy of a Student Manual and other materials.
