Great Vespers in Traditional Orthodox Chant

You are invited to join in an unique celebration and worship service. St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church will host the Hampton Roads "Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy" on Sunday, March 5th, with a Great Vespers Service at 5:00 p.m. The Russian Choir and Byzantine Choir will chant the service in traditional Slavonic and Greek Chant respectively. The guest speaker will be the Associate Professor of Ethics at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Brookline, Massachusetts, Dr. Timothy Patitsas.
