Grove Christian Outreach serves the physical needs of a local community

Drive east from Williamsburg about 5 miles on Route 60 and you come to the town of Grove, a community of modest structures, and in need of a "hand up". Until recently, some residents had difficulty putting food on the table, much less toys in the playroom. The Grove Christian Outreach has gone a long way towards solving both problems, from a modest beginning a few years ago, up to a fully supported supply center in a modern brick building, manned largely by volunteers from the Williamsburg area. Food, toys, clothing are all available to those in need.

The Outreach is partly supported by donations from the James City County Rotary Club, which she recently addressed at a breakfast meeting.
