There are many reasons why current or retired federal employees should join NARFE. The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Association is the only organization solely dedicated to protecting and preserving the pay and benefits of ALL federal employees.
NARFE is your legislative voice and advocate in Washington D.C. on behalf of the federal community. It is also an invaluable information resource of clear and trusted guidance on complex, federal benefit issues.
In the Williamsburg area, we have an active and engaged local NARFE chapter with folks continuing to serve in a variety of ways. Pictured with the NARFE national president, Richard Thissen is our Williamsburg chapter president Marilyn M. Riddle and Jeanne Garrison, former chapter president and current area Vice President for several local chapters.
Simply put, your local NARFE chapter 685 is fully involved in NARFE activities. Our monthly chapter luncheons routinely provide updates on federal pay and benefit issues. We offer an interesting guest speaker program which has featured local politicians and officials, museum director, national park superintendent, legal and law enforcement professionals, and health care and aging experts. Our luncheons are informative and full of good food and fellowship with federal employees and retirees.
So why not consider joining NARFE and be sure to select our Williamsburg chapter 685. For more information, contact Marilyn Riddle at 229-2177.
