Historic Rivers Master Naturalists Basic Training Begins September 4 for Cohort XIII

On September 4th, 2018, The Historic Rivers Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists welcomed 19 enthusiastic, new trainees (pictured above) as Cohort XIII began their basic training for certification as Virginia Master Naturalists. During the next six months, these participants will learn through classroom and field experiences about natural resource management and conservation in Virginia. Upon certification, these volunteers will be prepared to provide education, outreach, stewardship, and service dedicated to the beneficial management of natural resources and natural areas within their local communities.
