Homecoming is a special time for Revival at St. John

St. John Baptist Church will celebrate its annual Homecoming this Sunday, Aug. 28, with two services. At 11 a.m., Minister Patricia Habersham will preach, and the Homecoming Alumni Choir will provide music. Linda Lee will direct. The Homecoming Meal "On the Grounds" will be served afterward. At 3 p.m., special guests will be Union Baptist Church of Williamsburg. Pastor Clarence Bolton will preach. He will be accompanied by his choir, ushers and church family.
Revival services will take place Monday, Aug. 29-Friday, Sept. 2, with Prayer & Praise at 7 p.m. and the Revival message at 7:30. Revivalist for the week will be the Rev. Dr. Reginald Woodhouse, pastor of First Baptist Church-Jefferson Park in Newport News. Guest choirs for the week include:
Monday - Louise Marsh & the Golden Voices
Tuesday - Mt. Pilgrim Echoes
Wednesday - Anointed Voices of Williamsburg
Thursday - Colossian Male Chorus
Friday - First Baptist Church-Jefferson Park
