Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg Announces new Clinical Director

Williamsburg, Virginia, Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg has announced the appointment of Heidi M. Crocker, BSN, RN as the new Clinical Director. Audrey Smith, Executive Director said, "We are delighted to welcome such a compassionate, experienced and dedicated professional to our team."

Ms. Crocker is a compassionate and dedicated nurse with 19 years of hands-on experience. Heidi has served as a registered nurse in a variety of capacities at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University and received her Registered Nurse degree from Louise Obici School of Nursing. She is currently enrolled in a Masters of Science Program at Liberty University. She holds certification in BCLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy.

Ms. Crocker is a recipient of the Daisy Award for outstanding patient and family care for the Sentara system. She also is a recipient of a scholarship for outstanding academic achievement from Sentara Women's Auxiliary.

Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg is a social-model hospice that provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to enhance the quality of living for individuals facing the last phases of life and the people who love them. The Hospice House itself is a spacious residence that is a home away from home for our guests and their families. Support care services range from companionship in families' homes to extensive bereavement programs provided to families throughout the community.
