Former James City County Supervisor Jim Icenhour was recently elected to a two year term as Chairman of the Virginia Board of Veterans Services. The board is responsible for monitoring the welfare of Virginia's veterans and setting policies to enhance veteran services across the Commonwealth. Icenhour retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1987 after a 20 year career as a fighter pilot during which he flew 195 combat missions in Southeast Asia. He looks forward to helping his fellow veterans obtain the benefits they have earned while serving our great nation.
