James City Lions and Fire Fighters work together to beautify the community

James City Lions Club members and Fire Fighters plant October Glory Maple Trees at the James City Fire Department in Toano. The trees were purchased by the James City Lions Club. Beautification of the community is one more way that Lions serve outside of their core missions of sight, hearing and diabetes. From left to right Lions Lee Van Voorhees, Don Brannon, Steve Silvasy, Phil Giles (Club President), and Anthony Albanese; Fire Fighter Dan Layou; Lion Bill Williamson; Fire Fighter Lt. Paul Reier; Lion Pam Lundberg; and in front, Antonio Albanese. Not pictured are Project Coordinators Lion Jim McBriarty and Captain Tom Perkins.
