James City Lions Club hosts Cinco de Mayo fund raiser

On May 5th, the James City Lions Club hosted a fund raising event at the Ford's Colony Country Club.
The "Cinco de Mayo" fund-raisier, attended by 100 party goers, was very successful. The country club staff provided exceptional tapas to go along with the beer, wine, and sodas. Live music by Lion Jack Wagner made the evening even more enjoyable. Raffle prizes included a free round of golf and a high tech driver (provided by the country club),bottles of fine wines, gift cards for local restaurants and more. Net proceeds will go to support the Lions sight, hearing and diabetes programs in the Williamsburg community. The JC Lions Club wishes to extend a sincere "thank you" to those supporting this event.
