James City Lions Conduct Hearing Screening for Head Start students

Eight James City Lions Club members recently contributed more than 40 volunteer hours screening the hearing of 128 students at three Head Start sites in the Williamsburg area. Forty-five were referred for further evaluation. This hearing screening of Head Start students was the first ever for the Club. The James City Lions Club wishes to thank Hecker and Associates for the loan of a portable audiometer and Colonial Hearing Center for providing a portable screening device.
