James City Lions conduct highly successful charity golf tourney

The JC Lions Club held their annual fund raising golf tournament on September 16th at the Ford's Colony Country Club. The golf, with 27 foursomes, was followed by a silent auction and lunch. Funds raised in this effort go back into the Greater Williamsburg community with focus on the Lions core mission of sight, hearing and diabetes. The JC Lions wish to thank our Premier Sponsors, Chesapeake Bank and the Chophouse restaurant, our 28 hole sponsors, the numerous businesses that provided silent auction items and the many golfers supporting our fund raising effort.
