James City Lions learn about “Faith in Action”

Ms. Rita Smith, Executive Director of Williamsburg area non-profit Faith in Action recently briefed JC Lions on all that their agency does for the community. Their mission, which is performed by volunteers, is "to help seniors and adults with a chronic illness or physical disability remain independent in their homes". Their program has two major parts-1) Transportation Services, and, 2) In Home Services. The JC Lions also learned about the many volunteer opportunities with the agency. Shown with Ms. Smith is Club President Phil Pryor. Not pictured is Lion Donna Mitchell, who arranged for the briefing.
