James City Lions maintain memorial garden at the JC County Recreation Center

Lions Warren Wright (l-r, project leader), Mary Ann Hurley, Margene Hartsough, and Mike Jaskowiak are shown preparing to go to work at the Lion Mike Allen Memorial Garden, which is located at the entrance to the recreation center. JC Lions regularly replant, de-weed and beautify this highly visible garden. Club members spend many hours annually working to ensure that the garden is well maintained. Visitors to the recreation center often have high praise for the beautiful garden as they walk by.
