James P. Nickols, pastor of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church presents a check to Colonial Heritage Community Foundation in memory of his mother.

James P. Nickols, pastor of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and president of Colonial Heritage Community Foundation (CHCF) presents Melissa Rehm, the executive director of CHCF, a check for $2,015, a cumulative sum from contributions made in memory of his 91 year old mother, Helen M. Walz, who died in April of this year. Mrs. Walz, who was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, was a participant in CHCF's Wednesday's Senior Champion Program, a free adult day care program, which meets in the church's hall since its inception four years ago. Colonial Heritage Community Foundation operates a second program at New Zion Baptist Church on Tuesdays. Also pictured is Anne Bradstreet Smith, the foundation's secretary (r.) and Tony Conyers, the foundation's vice president.
