James River Baptist Ordains Youth Minister

James River Baptist Church, 4931 Centerville Road, Williamsburg, recently ordained their Minister of Youth, Justin Beville, as an Ordained Minister of the Gospel. An Ordination Council consisting of the Pastor, Dr. Scott Salsman, the Chairman of Deacons and other Ordained Ministers belonging to the church met with Justin to review his testimony of salvation, his pastoral calling from the Lord, and his qualifications (including theological preparation and scriptural qualifications) for pastoral ministry. After that council, an ordination ceremony was conducted before members of the church and other visitors.
Justin graduated from Powhatan High School in 2010. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with a Minor in Student Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina in May of 2014. Justin married his wife, Amanda, in June of 2014 and began working on a Master of Divinity from Southeastern in January of 2015. Justin feels that God has called him to work with youth to guide them in their Christian walk and to establish a lifelong pursuit of Christ in whatever they go on to do after school.
Youth and Parents of youth from all over the Williamsburg area are encouraged to call the church at 757-258-0303 to see how you can become a part of this exciting group.
