Jamestown wins Boys 1600 Sprint Medley Relay and Jamestown Jordan Willis wins Boys Long Jump The Dogwood Track Classic

Jordan Willis, Jordan Turner, Darius Reed, and Cameron Coat won the Boys 1600 Sprint Medley Relay event Friday night May 6 in Charlotteville at the Dogwood Track Classic with the winning time 3:36.11; VA High School # 4th ranking. On Saturday May 7 Jamestown Jordan Willis won the Boys Long Jump event with a jump of 22' 06.5"; VA High School # 10th ranking. In the Boys 100 m Dash, Jordan Willis finished 5th with a state qualifying time of 11.23, while his teammate Jordan Turner finished 9th with a time of 11.37; Jordan Turner is also state qualified in this event with a time of 10.99 sec achieved at the BRD meet 2 held at York High School. Jordan Willis also finished 10th in the Boys 200m Dash with a time of 22.40 sec. In the Boys 400m Dash Jordan Willis finished 12 for Jamestown with a time of 50.01 seconds.
Jordan Willis has qualified for six VHSL outdoor state events: Long Jump; 100m, 200m, 400m dashes; and both the 4 x 100 & 4 x 400 relays. The VHSL Group 4A State Outdoor T & F Championship will be held in Harrisonburg, VA June 3rd and 4th at Harrisonburg High School.
