Japan program and tastings for the Kingspoint Garden Club

The Kingspoint Garden Club enjoyed a wonderful program on Japanese culture and food at its January meeting at the Kingspoint Clubhouse. Satomi Okamura's presentation focused on the New Year's celebrations, decorations and Yuko Molineux who is a member of the Kingspoint Garden Club made Japanese flower arrangements. Delicious Japanese food was prepared by them.They made INARI-ZUSHI that sushi rice stuffed into pouches of deep-fried tofu, Japanese radish salad, YAKlSOBA that stir-fried noodles, and two traditional dishes of Japanese New Year's. Co-hostesses were Olivia Molineux, Miriam Mozingo, and Virginia Bendura.
