JC Lions conduct highly successful charity golf tourney

The James City Lions Club held their annual fund raising golf tournament on September 15th at the Ford's Colony Country Club. A silent auction and lunch followed the golf. Funds raised in this effort go back into the Greater Williamsburg community with focus on the Lions core mission of sight, hearing and diabetes. The JC Lions wish to thank our Premier Sponsors: Chesapeake Bank, Chesapeake Wealth Management, Fireside Chophouse and Holiday Chevrolet and Cadillac. Additionally, we thank our nearly 40 hole sponsors, the numerous businesses that provided silent auction items, the Ford's Colony Country Club staff and the many golfers supporting our fund raising effort. Pictured from left are Lions Don Martin (tourney co-chair), Phil Giles (Club President) and Larry Bartholomew (tourney co-chair).
