Kids Enjoy Arts Alive Summer Arts Camp!

Arts Alive held its annual Summer Arts Camp the week of June 27-July 1. One hundred twenty five children participated in the week-long camp and enjoyed classes that included dance, visual arts, drama and music. The campers had an opportunity to try new activities, find new talents and make lasting friendships and memories. But more importantly, it was an opportunity to have fun! More photos can be found through a link on our Facebook page.

Arts Alive would like to thank West Point Schools for allowing us to use their facilities and Charles City-James City-New Kent-York County Farm Bureau for sponsoring this event. A special thanks to the local teachers and artists who taught the classes and to all the volunteers, parents and students who helped make this event so successful.

Registration is still open for our Missoula Children's Theatre drama camp which will be held the week of August 8 through 13. Campers will rehearse and attend workshops all week with two professional actors from the Missoula Children's Theatre. They will present two performances of Jungle Book on August 13 at 3:00 and 7:00 PM at the Robinson/Olsson Auditorium. These performances are open to the public. To register visit our website at and click on the link "Summer Camps". You may also call 804-843-3475 or email Donna Kline at for more information or questions.
