Kiwanis and Cooke's Partner for Holiday Poinsettia Sale

The Kiwanis Club of Toano and Cooke's Gardens in Williamsburg have partnered to offer poinsettias for sale. Members of the Kiwanis Club are taking pre-orders now through November 24.

4 1/2", 6" and 10" poinsettia plants are being offered at reasonable prices, with an additional 7% discount offered with any order of 10 or more plants.

All proceeds from the sales will go towards the Kiwanis Club of Toano's efforts to support childrens' programs in Toano, Williamsburg and the James City County area. Earlier this year the Kiwanis Club gave away grants of over $10,000 to more than 10 local agencies.

Poinsettia plants sold by November 24 will be available for pickup from Cooke's Gardens December 1-15.

For details and/or more information, contact either Kiwanis Club of Toano Co-chairmen Steve Ewell at 757-603-2807 or Dave Rothberg at 757-206-1750. The local Kiwanis Club meets each Tuesday for lunch at 12 noon at Hot Stacks Restaurant on Richmond Road.
