Karen Stokes, MSN/RN with Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center visited the Kiwanis Club of Toano and spoke on the new program Safe Kids Worldwide. Safe Kids Worldwide provides a variety of programs to teach children and parents how to remain safe in various activities. Safe Kids is gearing up for Halloween and would like to remind everyone to stick together, look both ways before crossing the street, be sure your child's visibility is not obscured by mask, and that they can walk normally in their costumes. To learn more please visit safekids.org.
