Latisha's House Gets New Van, Thanks Community

Residents of Latisha's House now enjoy a safe, low mileage, sparkling clean 2013 Honda Odyssey. A heartfelt thanks to members of the community who raised their paddle and pledged support for a new van at the 4th Annual Latisha's House Christmas Gala. Many thanks also to Alpha Motorsports in Fredericksburg, VA who donated a portion of the van at cost.

Latisha's House Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a local residential program that offers "holistic centered care and trauma-based counseling, education, safe housing, training, employment opportunities, and unconditional support to survivors of sex trafficking." Since October 2014, Latisha's House Foundation has helped 26 young ladies start a new life: five start college, two get their GED, two regained custody of their daughters, 14 have obtained local jobs, 21 have volunteered in the community, and most have found or rediscovered faith, attending three local churches, volunteering, greeting and singing in the choir. Latisha's House Foundation has also seen 10 pimps put away for the a long time.
