Lions Assisted Medical Project (LAMP) helps those in need

A joint project of the Williamsburg Host and James City Lions Clubs to provide a comprehensive eye exam and prescription eyeglasses to less fortunate residents of the Williamsburg community was conducted on Feb 4 at Quarterpath Rec Center. Twenty-two local residents participated with each given a free eye exam and new prescription eyeglasses. Supporting the project were three local optometrists, one optician, and several members from each club. Many thanks to the staff at Quarterpath Rec Center and to all the Lions members who volunteered to help with this project. Pictured are: Lion Dr. Amanda Paull, Dr. Kelsey Guth and Lion Dr. Pam Lundberg (not pictured: Joy Rosser - Optician).
