Lions Clubs provide family $1,000 to attend STEM symposium

The clubs joined together to provide $1000 to Eric and his mother to enable them to travel to Minneapolis, Minnesota to attend the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) symposium. These classes provide lectures and demonstrations of advanced mathematics and scientific initiatives to stimulate the interest and skills of the sight impaired students. It is sponsored by the National Federation of the Blind (NFB). Assistance to the sight impaired is one of the Lions missions.
