Local Author Receives Award

The Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference (BRMCWC) is the premier training and networking event for both seasoned and aspiring writers and speakers. In late May, the annual Conference met and presented their awards. Williamsburg author, Janet Grunst's, debut novel, A Heart Set Free received the Selah Award for Historical Romance. A Heart Set Free tells the story of a woman who flees Scotland in 1770 as an indentured servant to escape disgrace. In Virginia she finds forgiveness, faith, and a future she could never have anticipated. The book was published by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas and can be purchased through Amazon.
