National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), Williamsburg Chapter collected 625 letters written by children from various local schools, churches and scout troops to soldiers stationed around the world. The letters collected were part of a Guinness World Record project of NSDAR to send "the most letters to military personnel collected in one month from one location".
