"The Auxiliary of Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center awarded four scholarships to local seniors who are pursuing a healthcare career. The scholarship criteria included grade point average, school extracurricular activities, community volunteer activities, junior volunteer activities in a healthcare facility, and honors and awards received. Students were also assessed on their goals in the healthcare profession and their plan to achieve those goals. The winners are: Madelyn Clevinger (graduating Jamestown High School, going to the University of Virginia); Courtney Diaz (Walsingham Academy, going to The Ohio State University); Adam Godwin (Warhill, going to Thomas Nelson Community College); and Ji Kim (The Governor's School of Science and Technology, going to Washington and Lee University). The Auxiliary congratulates and wishes much continued success to these four winners and all the other outstanding applicants."
