Local Pickleball Players Win Big at 40th Anniversary Virginia Senior Games

The local area was well represented at the recently completed 40th Anniversary Virginia Senior Games. Held indoors May 11/12 at the Richmond International Raceway in Henrico County, players went head-head with some of the strongest competition in years.

Fran Hermance/Neil Thompson - Silver Medal - Mixed Doubles (80-84)
Bill Armbruster/Harry Vreeland - Silver Medal - Men's Doubles (80-84)
John Heiser - Gold Medal - Men's Singles (75-79)
Miko Heiser/John Heiser - Gold Medal - Mixed Doubles (75-79)
Jim Hall/John Beck - Gold Medal - Men's Doubles (75-79)
John Beck/Helen Crum - Silver Medal - Mixed Doubles (75-79)
Gail Shutt/Tracey Crockett - Bronze Medal - Women's Doubles (55-59)
Jeff Anthony - Gold Medal - Men's Singles (70-74)

All have now qualified to compete in the 2019 National Senior Games in Albuquerque, NM.
