Local Veterans Honored by the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS®

Two (2) benches were dedicated to Veteran "Hometown Heroes" at the Veterans Tribute Tower Park in New Town on Monday, July 24th. This year, as a contribution to the community and in honor of our local "Hometown Heroes", the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS® is installing benches that will provide comfortable seating in various local gathering spots throughout James City County and the City of Williamsburg.

Just one example of local REALTORS® community involvement and in recognition of our Veterans, the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS® was proud to present these benches. Each year the Association's outreach program helps to engage local REALTOR® members with other non-profit organizations in the greater Williamsburg area. In years past the Association has assisted Habitat for Humanity with home restorations, the Williamsburg House of Mercy with food pantry distribution, installed playground mulch and renovated the children's art room at Avalon, provided landscaping for Hospice House, supplied diapers to Child Development Resources, conducted food drives for FISH, and many others.
